Is Sidekick free?

Yes. Sidekick is free to start, with messages each day on fast models like GPT‑5 mini, Claude Haiku, and Gemini 3 Flash. A Pro subscription adds flagship models, image and video generation, and removes daily limits — pricing is shown in the app and billed through your Apple ID.

What can Sidekick do?

Chat and writing, web answers with real sources, summaries of PDFs, links, and YouTube, image and short‑video generation, voice, a camera that reads text and solves problems, and 18 AI characters — all organized into Projects.

Is my data private?

Your conversations are stored on your device, and nothing is sent to AI providers until you grant consent in the app. Your data is not used to train AI models, and every provider request is routed through Sidekick’s secure server proxy.

Do I need an account?

No. You can start as a guest with no sign‑up. Signing in with Apple is optional.

Which AI powers Sidekick?

Top models from OpenAI (GPT‑5), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and more — pick the one that fits each chat.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancel before the renewal date and you will not be charged again.
